Tortilla Bar

I was more than pleasantly surprised by this amazing restaurant.  Fresh ingredients, great prices, and fast service.  Even though I didn't come prepared with a camera, I was still able to capture some of our yummy food with my hubby's camera phone(I'm still stuck in the stone age with a flip phone...and I love it).  We devoured the kale and jicama salad in about a minute, no joke.  It was light and refreshing.  The bitterness of the greens and the sweetness of the pineapple was delightful!  We loved the tacos.  Every bite had a soft and crunchy texture and a great punch of flavor.  They only use local ingredients, and there's no doubt of it in every bite.  Everything was perfectly cooked and perfectly fresh.  Lastly we licked our dessert bowl clean.  Who would have thought that whipped cream, banana, caramel popcorn and lime shavings would be a fantastic ending to a meal?  Genius!  We are fans, and we will be back...no question.

Pantrucas Chilean Restaurant

Many moons ago, a friend told me about this great Chilean restaurant by Days Market in Provo.  Let me just say, I am so glad I finally tried it!  The aroma that meets you when you walk into Pantrucas gets your tummy rumbling.  The menu is small, but everything is so yummy.  Any choice you make will be a good one. You are called by name and welcomed with the kindest greetings.
We started our meal with orange juice.  It was frothy and fresh, just seconds from being juiced.  Their Churrasco Plata is so full of flavor, and nothing but fresh ingredients!  The beef empanadas blew my mind.  Crunchy on the outside and soft in the middle, and packed with flavor.  It's definitely worth going up there to get a taste of this delicious food.

Love for Waffle Love

The love I have for this waffle truck grows a little more every time I devour one of these amazing waffle creations.  The waffle itself is made from a dough, yup a dough.  It's crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside.  Homemade whipped cream, fresh strawberries, and biscotti drizzle are my toppings of choice.  You won't find butter and syrup for these waffles.  It's definitely worth the drive!  Since it's a food truck, they travel to different parts of Utah allowing all to try their delicious creations.  Follow their facebook to find out if they'll be close to you.
